Don Chamberlin lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife of 31 years, Susie. Don is an experienced Financial Advisor and Founder/CEO of The Chamberlin Group, St. Louis’ leading financial advisory firm where clients are equal to family. With the help of his elite team of experts, Don has been serving his community in several ways. For over a decade Don has led educational workshops to help out families within his community better understand the financial industry and how they can prepare for a more comfortable future. In these workshops, Don covers several topics that are highly beneficial to attendees. This includes but is certainly not limited to, tax reform, estate preservation, asset protection, maximizing social security benefits, organization of important financial documents, and expense reduction.
Don Chamberlin also pursues several charitable endeavors. He is a participant and contributor to the Honor Flight Network, a nonprofit organization that honors the sacrifices that veteran men and women of the armed forces have made for this country. During an Honor Flight, the organization flies veterans and volunteers out to Washington D.C. so that they can tour the memorials and reflect and honor their fallen comrades. The first Honor Flight happened in 2005, and involved the use of smaller passenger planes. But as the program grew in popularity, as did their desire to help even more generations of American veterans, they began using larger commercial planes. After similar organizations began to take root in different parts of the country, they eventually merged under the “Honor Flight Network”.
Don also contributes to Soles4Souls, an organization that has been fighting poverty and providing much needed footwear to those in need since 2006. Soles4Souls was founded after two consecutive years, 2004 and 2005, where the world experienced catastrophic natural disasters. Following the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami and 2005’s Hurricane Katrina, philanthropists and shoe company executives provided footwear to those who were victims of those disasters. With that example to follow, Soles4Souls was officially born with a goal to begin eradicating poverty and empowering individuals. In a 2015 shoe drive, The Chamberlin Group and its clients donated 1,520 pairs of shoes to the needy.
Another organization that Don Chamberlin and his team contributors to is KidSmart, a nonprofit that provides school supplies to children with families who have a hard time affording materials that children need for classwork. KidSmart helps over 90,000 students in St. Louis receive materials, at no cost to the classrooms through contributions from businesses like The Chamberlin Group.
